Physician Profiles

Dr. Bates

Dr. Evan Bates has been practicing Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in Dallas for over 16 years. He attended medical school at the University of North Carolina and completed his residency training at UCLA Medical Center. During his residency he completed research in sinus disease focusing on nasal polyps performed one of the first endoscopic sinus surgery procedures at UCLA when he was Chief Resident. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society. His practice focuses on pediatric ENT, the treatment of sinus disease, and head and neck surgery. He is a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and has supervised residents at both Children's Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Dr. Bates is a frequent speaker on chronic sinus disease and his interests include computer applications in medicine where he has published several articles and taught instructional courses at the Annual Meeting of the AAO-HNS. Dr. Bates is an avid marathon runner and lives in Dallas with his wife and 4 children.

Dr. Rohn

Dr. Rohn joined the practice in 1995 after finishing his medical school and residency programs at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSWMC). He is board certified and holds an assistant professorship at the UTSWMC. Dr. Rohn is a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His interests include pediatric ENT, surgery of the ear, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, sinonasal disorders, head and neck cancer and reconstructive procedures, and rhinoplasty. He is married and has three children.

Dr. Gamble

Dr. Gamble grew up in Plano and is happy to be practicing in his hometown. He attended Baylor University and completed medical school and residency at UTSWMC. He is board certified to take care of both adults and children with problems of the ears, nose, throat, head and neck. His special areas of interest include pediatric ENT, ear surgery, head and neck tumors, and sinus disorders. He also cares for speech and swallowing disorders, sleep apnea, and vertigo. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American College and Surgeons. He is married and has two children, and he and his wife enjoy cycling, fishing and hunting.
